Modern Playful Bathroom Reveal

We finally got our butts in gear over the past week to finish up the final details of our new bathroom. (We were having a party, so that was just the motivation we needed!) And through a secondary miracle, I took pictures and am finally sharing the reveal of our modern playful bathroom! Or it could be called the teal and turquoise bathroom reveal. Whichever you prefer.

But first, to refresh your memory:

The pink and dirty and cracked before picture. Oh man. I’d almost forgotten how ugly the bathroom used to be.  Because this is what it looks like now:

Ahh. So much better. I think my vision really came together well–if I do say so myself. Compare it to the modern playful bathroom moodboard I made before the remodel by clicking on that link.

Why yes, we did paint the inside of the window teal as well! I’m so glad you noticed! It’s one of my favorite parts of the room.

FYI: The pictures are all square because Jaye changed some setting on my camera without me realizing it until it was too late. Or rather, until I had already taken the pictures and uploaded them, and I didn’t want to repeat the process. Modern Playful Bathroom, Teal Turquoise Bathroom

The shower curtain might be my next favorite part.

Or the warm round wood mirror above that awesome (and full of storage) sleek sink cabinet!

Or the awesome pendant lights with bright turquoise cords. My dad’s favorite part is the modern yet vintage looking faucet.

Jaye’s favorite part is her new bow holder on the wall behind the door. Also, this is the only shot of the tile accent stripe in the shower. I love that there are hooks instead of towel bars, because they are so much easier to use. (Which means they are more likely to get used instead of towels being dropped in the floor!)

We are SO happy with our new bathroom. Having one room that is totally “us” has REALLY made us want to get moving on transforming the entire rest of the house!

Teal paint color: Safe Harbor, Olympic Paint, Lowes
Gray bathroom cabinet, sink, and faucet: Ikea, the Godmorgon line. Installed floating on the wall.
Shelves: Urban Outfitters, Modern Wall Shelf
Shower Curtain: Also Urban Outfitters, but I can’t find it listed on their website anymore. 🙁
Lights: NUD pendant light in turquoise from Lumens here.
Mirror: Pluto Wooden mirror from Overstock here.
Cloud Bow Holder: Made by me! Tutorial to come.
Art: The This Home is Filled with Love print is a card from Freya. I spray painted the white mat so the white card would pop more and just framed it.
